Can i make handmade toys for my Indian Ring neck parrot?

i have two Indian ring neck parrots and their names are belle and dale and i have heard that parrots love to play with toys and there lies the problem, parrot toys are not available in the place where i stay can anybody help............... plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz . can i use a unused rubber dog ball can anybody plz tell me a website or anything which can help me to make homemade toys
