What do you suggest : Cuba or Jamaica?

I've been to both places and they were both safe, but i stayed at resorts so that's different. honestly there both beautiful countries with nice beaches and weather... but jamaica is more richer as a country... so the quality is probably going to be better there as their better off economically since Cuba has the embargo.
