I am considering opening a business renting bicycles or motor-scooters, what are the differences?

I would like to open a tourist related business renting bicycles or motorized scooters but I would like to consider all the pros and cons before I proceed. The motorized scooters that I am contemplating are gas powered but under 50cc's. Any advice or comparisons would be appreciated.
