What kind of motorized scooter should I get?

Take a look at the Kymco Grand Vista 250 (in Europe it's called the Grand Dink!). It will satisfy all of your key needs (1-4 and 6). It's not 'classic looking but it is a good looking scoot. You should be able to find one well within your lower to mid price range.
