Who is Mr. Dale Chihuly?

Dale Chihuly is the best known designer of blown glass functioning over the last 30 years. He is best known for very large very colorful pieces and large installations of similar pieces. He assembles teams of glass workers and pushes them to their limits making them better artists, but he has not blown glass himself for many years since he lost vision in one eye. Many of the people that have been part of his teams produce their own work at prices that match his extravagant ones.
